Physics and the Green Economy - Opening Panel Discussion

Please click here to review the programme for this session

How can Physics and Physicists realise a prosperous green economy, which is low carbon, resource-efficient
and socially inclusive without harming the environment?

This summit is very timely given COP26 in Glasgow and the Government’s recently published ‘Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution’ that sets out a number of actions to transition to net zero. Physics is fundamental to the technologies that will be required to implement this transition.
